What’s the difference?

  • Polyurea, polyurethane, and epoxy are all popular coatings, but they each have distinct characteristics that make them suitable for different applications. Here’s a breakdown of the differences:

    Epoxy:
Epoxy is a thermosetting resin that forms a hard, durable finish when mixed with a hardener.

    Polyurea:
Polyurea is a fast-curing polymer formed by mixing an isocyanate with a resin blend. It's known for its extremely quick reaction time.

    Polyurethane:
Polyurethane is a polymer that cures into a tough, elastic material, available in both aliphatic (UV resistant) and aromatic (more chemical-resistant but can yellow) forms.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
